Persist civil war over the past four years has negatively affected scientific research in the Arab region. The continuous ongoing war has hampered the work of researchers in Yemen too, a country known for its contributions to the research community. According to Yemen’s ministry of higher education, more than 43 government scientific centers attached to Yemeni universities have ceased operations because of damage to their facilities.
