Prakash Javadekar, Human Resource Development minister of India, has announced that the colleges and public Universities which fail to participate in the country’s ranking system will face the consequences. Because of these missing data of Universities and colleges from the list, it could not reflect accurate rank of the Universities. These Universities will have to pay the penalty, possibly in the form of cuts in funding.
