Recently, a week ago, the chemists at the Scripps Research Institute have developed a new molecular binding tool named as “Template” that makes binding modifications easy for the researchers. The tool is believed to overcome the enzyme limitation issues in synthesis of organic compounds in labs. The process can be initiated with use of a small catalytic template, which can result in versatile results as compared to use of enzymes. This new template can work with both homo and heterocycles via C-H activation.
